Inner DIVINITY

Robin has been a social worker practicing professionally in the field of child welfare since 2012. She grew up with her single mother who became a licensed foster parent in 1989, when Robin was 3. Since that time, exposed to suffering children and put in a place of using her love and compassion to help and befriend, Robin understands on a soul level the cost of caring in a world where people are not endowed with innate value.

 

In 2016, Robin’s work shifted from direct practice with families, to supporting the practitioners of child welfare in a training and coaching capacity, helping caseworkers and leadership through the negative conditions caused by care work due to Compassoin Fatigue, Vicarious and Secondary Trauma, and Burnout. She has studied and taught about these phenomena in depth, including for 5 years in an academic setting with the University of Nevada Reno's School of

Social Work.

​Robin’s lifetime of experience in the child welfare system and research over the last decade has shaped a unique understanding of the need for spiritual wellbeing, especially in connecting with Divine Feminine principles associated with nurturing love and compassion. These qualities become fatigued in helping professions, which are predomintately filled by women, and spiritual connection is needed to re-fill our soul’s cup in order to keep giving.

Robin has a deep passion for supporting the care workers of our world and understands very personally how exhausting work in these fields can be when we are not receiving the needed support and care ourselves.

Robin has a vision and a mission to shift the leadership approach in fields of care to one of compassion and holistic support. To end the cycle of burnout and compassion fatigue by cultivating a workforce culture in fields of care to one of mutual compassion, gratitude, and ardor.
